The Oaks Subdivision

The Oaks Subdivision - Marysville, Ohio
Client: Myron Gallogy

The project consisted of the planning, design, and construction services for a 66 acre subdivision in Marysville, Ohio.  The existing farm land required a boundary survey to define the property boundaries and to provide the necessary information for easement and rights-of-way preparation.  The most difficult construction aspect of the project included a 100-ft bore underneath US Route 38 for the installation of the sanitary sewer and associated casing pipe.  Because of existing land agreements, one of the boring pits where located within State of Ohio right-of-way which required the design of steel pilings and maintenance of traffic plan.  PEI also provided all bidding documents and aided the developer during the selection of the contractor.  PEI continued as construction manager for the project which included 2,472 linear feet of water main, 2,592 linear feet of sanitary sewer, 1,658 linear feet of storm sewer, two (2) storm water detention ponds, and roadway improvements including the entrance drive to State Route 38.
